What is this chakra meditation? Chakras are basically the energy centers of our bodies. If the chakras are blocked, our physical and mental wellbeing can be affected. Different colors depict different chakras. This identifies it from other chakras. The colors range from red to orange among others. For instance, the root chakra is red in color.
What chakras exist in our bodies? First, there is the red colored root chakra. This chakra is situated at the base of the spine. You will be strong and secure if the root chakra is balanced. On the other hand, if this chakra is blocked, you will feel anxiety, fear and have a weak immune system. Sacral is the second chakra. It is orange in color and found below the belly button. If balanced, you will be happy and friendly. In case it is blocked, sexual difficulties and low motivation are common.
The yellow colored solar plexus chakra is located between the ribcage and navel. Your productivity and energy will be high if this chakra is balanced. On the other hand, an imbalanced solar plexus chakra can cause insecurities, procrastinations, reduced energy levels and digestive problems. The heart chakra on the other hand is green. It is located within the heart and is responsible for love and affection. Your love and spiritual affairs are good if it is balanced. If blocked, you will feel lonely and have chest pains.
The chakra responsible for our communication is the throat chakra, which is located in the throat and is blue in color. When this chakra is balanced, we are clear in communication and are equally good at listening. Anxiety and tension will occur if it is not balanced. Located on the forehead, the third eye chakra is indigo in color. It this chakra is balanced; it gives us clear imagination and communication with the universe. If it is not, anxiety, depression and headaches may result.
The last chakra is the crown chakra which is violet in color. Located at the top of the head, this chakra must be balanced for us to be open-minded and accept divine guidance. When blocked, you will have problems with the nervous system, be stressed and confused. Generally, it is good to have guided chakra meditation. With guidance, the results will be great.
